Moving Day

Although this blog has been quiet lately, Shilo's birthday is not the last thing worth sharing on here. We've just been busy every night and weekend getting our house finished. We moved on Thursday and we are now happily swimming in boxes.

It has been such a long process and every so often, I find myself saying to James, "We did it, this is our home." With Christmas right around the corner, it feels like something to truly celebrate and be grateful for.

Below is our Xmas countdown that we made. Each day we cut off a strip of Santa's beard. It is funny how difficult it has been to remember to do this in the evening and it seems every couple of days we are cutting off at least two strips. Additional evidence that our days are full.
